The Art of Politics
How do you get the populace to vote a monster into office? You have that monster run against an uglier monster. We live in a relative reality. What does that mean? We can make something APPEAR less ugly by comparing it to something more ugly. Did that which started out ugly before comparison become, in reality, any less ugly? No. Don't assess by comparison. Assess by isolating the candidate and reviewing the virtues and vices that have manifested in the life of this particular individual.
